Volunteers are needed for Invercargill Public Meeting on 30 June.
We have organised a public meeting to be held at the Invercargill Public Library's upstairs meeting room on Sunday, June 30th. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will start promptly at 2:00 p.m.
Mike is currently working on a video that will be shown, as well as others sharing their stories. We also want someone from Labour and the Greens.
In order for this meeting to be a success and get our message out, it's important that we all do our part to help out so the work doesn't always fall on the same people. This has already been a long battle, and I know people are tired and stressed, but we won't give up until our funding is sorted.
Help is needed for the following:
- Set up - Three people are required to set up chairs and set up space for Carolyn to type up the event and put it away after
- Greeters: Two people are required to stand at the door, welcome people, and ask them to sign in and check out the info table.
- Refreshments - Two people to set up and clean up food and drink
